What We DoCaring for Patients. Ensuring Brevard’s Future.
The MIMA Foundation Mission: To add to the quality of life in Brevard County by supporting health-oriented educational programs and providing assistance grants to patients in need.
The Healthcare Scholarship Fund is designed to help alleviate and bring attention to the current shortage of nurses and other health care workers, which is expected to grow into a crisis in the next few years.
Patient Assistance Grants are awarded to patients in financial need. These grants are used to pay for non-medical costs incurred during an acute course of medical treatment, such as childcare, transportation and house cleaning.
About the Educational Fund for Allied Scholarships: Residents, students, and current health care workers in Brevard County are invited to apply for financial aid. The Foundation awards scholarships in the spring and fall of each year. Deadlines for applications are December 1st and June 15th.
